Hi everyone:
I wanted to share my cookbook with you, which I wrote in 2010.
It started out as a "fun" Christmas present for my family and friends and has now turned into a smash best-selling cookbook. ( I think I have actually sold 4 of them!). Best selling, because it is the best selling cookbook I have ever written. It is titled: " Crap, what am I going to make for dinner?" ( the culinary adventures of a bored housewife.)
I started writing down my recipes about 30 years ago because I had the foresight to think that maybe they would amount to something one day. Little did I know, that these gems would end up as Christmas presents. I have had a lot of hits and misses over the years and have always documented these on recipe cards, as I was cooking them. I now have several dozen recipes that I use again and again and some of these have been included in this cookbook.
I basically found a recipe template online, entered my recipes and then had them printed and bound at Staples. People were thrilled to receive them, or maybe I just imagined they were thrilled! In any regard, it was a fun project to do and I imparted a sense of humour, as always, into my recipes.
I attach below my recipe for PARMESAN-SESAME CHICKEN. I hope you can read the recipe. I am not a stickler for always using measurements; I often cook by intuition and that is why you will see imprecise quantities and not-so-exact directions. Hopefully, you will see the same results if you try this recipe.
Try it and enjoy!
Let me know if you do try it and how you liked it. (NB. When my husband sees one of my attempts at creating a new recipe and he is unsure of it, he will refer to it as "Who Hash". You know, what you might find on the table in Dr. Suess' Whoville - a big, sad mess!)
